Do you want to work with coaches that will be working with
you in the future? Deerfield High School Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach
Steve Brown and Head Sophomore Baseball Coach Steve
Downs in offering
clinics for the baseball player who wants to improve his overall skills
during the off-season.
Is your goal to be a Deerfield High School Baseball player? Is your goal
to play travel baseball? If you answered yes…then this clinic
would be for you. The overall skills clinics are for baseball players
3rd grade through 6th grade who want to work on the fundamentals of the
game. This clinic will work be a 6 week clinic that will help you in
getting ready for your upcoming season.
These clinics will be hands-on with instruction given in a positive manner
to encourage the athlete to achieve his best. Our goal is to get to know
each player and to make sure that each individual is improving on his
skills and becoming a better baseball player.

Deerfield Travel Baseball Prep Program For 9u & 10u
Back for its 3rd Season!

Januszewski, Steve Downs and Andy Goldberg
JGBSA is happy
to announce our clinics just for DYBA players planning on trying
out this spring for the 9u and 10u travel teams. The goal is both
simple and clear; we want the players to be as prepared as possible
for the upcoming tryouts. We bring the considerable experience and
knowledge of these DYBA travel managers in the ‘DYBA Travel
Way” to JGBSA in our 2010 DYBA Travel
Baseball Prep Clinic for 9 & 10u.
The format includes
two five week sessions of skills training in which they focus on
both player development and the tools that are most looked at during
a tryout. Hitting/Baserunning will
addressed in Session I, Fielding and Throwing (Arm Strength) in
Session II. You can sign up for one session or both.
These clinics come with
two special bonuses exclusive to DYBA players. While we don’t know the
exact dates of the tryouts at this time, if you sign up for one or both of
the clinics you son will also receive a FREE 30 Minute Private
Lesson with one of the coaches in the week before his tryout to review receive
some final tips. Next, your son will be able to use the JGBSA batting
cages for extra practice during the month of April leading up to
his tryout at NO CHARGE (since members can already
use the cages, they will receive a 2nd free lesson). Depending how
many times you use the cage, the value of these bonuses is well over
$100!
Between the instruction, experience, free
cage time and lessons, there is no other
clinic quite like it!
Special Note: The coaches will not be a part
of the evaluation process for the 9u and 10u tryouts, and therefore
will have no input on whether or not your son makes one of the
teams. Better put, while we cannot guarantee that by taking these
clinics your son will make the team, we will guarantee that he
will be well prepared.
