2012 Northern Knights Elite Summer Tournament Team Tryouts
Looking for Chicagoland's Finest Ballplayers

JJGBSA is proud to be the home of the Northern Knights, an elite summer baseball program for the high school player. For 2011, the Knights will field teams on the 15u, 16u,17u and 18u levels.

Who are the Knights looking for?
Highly skilled players, dedicated to their team and teammates, with the tools and motivation to play top level baseball and to be scouted for play on the collegiate level. The teams will be coached by Northern Knights/JGBSA Senior Staff members and will play in showcase level tournaments during the summer months. The older teams will travel out of state for some tournaments to seek out the best competition and where they can be seen by college coaches and MLB scouts.

Wednesday, September 7: 15u 5:00-7:00 @ JBBSA - Mun (Pitchers/Catchers & Hitting)
Thursday, September 8: 16u 5:00-7:00 @ JBBSA - Mun (Pitchers/Catchers & Hitting)
Saturday, September 10: 17u 5:00-7:00 @ College of Lake County (CLC)
Sunday, September 11: 15u 1:00-3:00 @CLC, 16u 3:00-5:00 @ CLC

Additional Sessions May Be Added If Needed
Times are subject to change based on fall baseball schedules. Players must attend both dates listed above for their age group. Players that are injured and unable to participate will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Call or email for more information.

Joy of the Game 2011 Tournament Team
15U. 16U & 17U High School Summer Tournament Teams

In addition to our Northern Knights program, JGBSA is happy to offer our 2011 JGBSA High School Summer Tournament Teams. These teams will be coached by JGBSA Senior Staff members. The teams will play in local (Northern IL) tournaments and will focus on player development while playing in high level tournaments. The JGBSA teams will take part in a winter training program that will not only bond the team but prepare each player for the high school tryouts next year.

Players will receive the following benefits:
• Full Access to Both JGBSA Academies
• Winter Team Practices from November to the start of High School tryouts
• Discounts on Private Lessons Packages & Elite Level Clinics
• Play in 5 Tournaments scheduled after HS finals and through early August

JGBSA Tryout Dates

Many players for the JGBSA teams will be offered invitations to join the team based on the results of the Knights tryouts. Therefore players interested in the JGBSA teams are asked to attend the Knights tryouts. If necessary, an additional session will be added on:
