Softball FUNdamentals Clinic For Grades 2-5
It’s true that there are not as many young girls involved with softball as there are boys in baseball. Our goal is to change that. This clinic will emphasize the basic fundamentals of the game in a setting that will allow them to see how fun softball can be. The main topics will include:

♦ Correct throwing motion
♦ Catching the ball
♦ Hitting
♦ Fielding
♦ How to "Be in the Game"
♦ Introduction to Windmill Pitching

Given the age of these players, time will be spent both reviewing past material and introducing new skills. We believe in this methodology because young players can rarely be taught something once and be expected to master that skill.

Softball Pitching Clinic - Grades 4 & Up
The steps to becoming a successful fastpitch softball pitcher, from proper fundamentals to improving your current pitching skills are covered. Coaches will explain grips, spins, delivery and control of different pitches. The skill of pitching a softball is developed in all its aspects. Participants will be grouped according to age and ability. For the older and more experienced players, the content will be high level, comprehensive and demanding. In addition to working on different pitches, time will be spent covering how to be prepared on the mound and the correct game management techniques that are crucial to success.

Softball Hitting Clinic - Grades 4 & Up
This hitting clinic focuses on the core elements of the batter’s swing. The participants are grouped based on age and ability. The fundamentals of hitting (stance, stride, swing) will be stressed. The older players will be on a more advanced track. The mental approach to hitting will be covered, as well as additional areas such as slap-hitting and situational hitting. Each session will include group instruction followed by drill work in rotating stations.

Travel Player Softball Clinic -Grades 4 & Up
Our most advanced all-around clinic. This clinic is limited to experienced travel players grades 4 and up. The content includes the core group of hitting, pitching, fielding and situational play. Focus will also be on developing the player’s mental edge, an overlooked aspect when it comes to player development. Time will also be spent on preparation for travel team and high school tryouts. The participants are grouped based on age and ability. Each session will include group instruction followed by drill work in rotating stations.
